We process what you fill in: name, e-mail, phone, company, country, the text of the inquiry, project stage, timeline, attachments and whether the inquiry is confidential. For an order request from the cart also the products and quantities, your machine and its quick coupler, and the VAT ID. Along with it, the page you sent it from, the site language, the time of sending and your IP address.
Providing the data is voluntary, but without a contact we cannot reply. Drawings and project documents are treated as confidential; where a non-disclosure agreement is in place, it takes precedence. Until you send it, the content of the cart stays in your browser only.
KOVACO dealers get access to the dealer area with materials and drawings. We process the name, work e-mail, the dealer company, product line, language, the time of the invitation and of the last two sign-ins, and the password, stored only in irreversibly scrambled form (a hash). The data is entered by KOVACO or handed to us by the dealer.
Requests you send through the dealer area (the text, attachments and the product they concern) are stored in the website’s administration and as a task in our CRM, where we handle them; our answers are shown to you there.

When you ask the AI assistant, we store the text of the conversation, the page it took place on and the machine details you mention (for example type and weight), so that we can follow up and improve the assistant. The answers are written by a language model, so the text of your questions is sent to the AI service provider listed below. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions about our products (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); if you send an inquiry from the conversation, the same applies to it as to the form.
Do not enter personal data in the chat that your question does not need. The assistant’s answers are recommendations, not decisions with legal effects.
The server records the IP address, the time and the address of the page requested, to keep the site secure and working (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after 14 days. From the IP address the site also tells the country, to show the prices and the shop that apply there; it does so with its own copy of a country database on our server (IP Geolocation by DB-IP), nothing is passed on and the country is not stored.
A video loads from youtube-nocookie.com (Google) only after you press play. Google then receives your IP address and browser details and processes them under its own terms, including in the USA. More in the cookie policy.
We do not sell your data.
The text of questions to the AI assistant is also processed in the USA. The transfer relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or on the EU – US Data Privacy Framework, as applied by the provider. All other data from this website is processed in the EU.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing and to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk).
